The city of Malang is one of the cities in East Java that keep it cool and clean for visitors to enjoy. Home to several historical temples, Malang is also known for its beach and its funky-looking Jodipan village.
Join our tour by exploring this city with a becak (rickshaw). Visit the interesting places in Malang, accompanied by an English or Indonesian speaking guide along the way. Take a picture of the well-arranged Idjen Boulevard that was once packed with Dutch families living around the area.
The route continues along with the market and up to the Chinese Temple. This colourful temple is the icon of Malang and belongs to worshippers of Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism. From the temple continue by becak to the Jodipan kampong. You can take a walk here and admire the project of students to paint the buildings and converted a kampong in a tourist destination and photogenic area. Before going back to the accommodation, you will visit Toko Oen, which was a well-known restaurant in Colonial time.
